Funcity is international youth festival taking place in the star of summer in Varna. Hundreds of young artists, representatives of NGOs, formal and informal groups make performances in different areas of music, street sports, visual and dance art, theatre, fun games and crafts. Everyone can participate in the activities. Venues include the Sea Garden, the Casino, Seashell stage, Amphitheatre stage, the Sea station and the central beach. The festival starts with the “Youth Street” initiative, continues with jaggy, little circus with traveling performers, scrambling walls, workshops for more than 30 different crafts, wall-painting, concerts and dancing competitions. Attractions include demonstrations of extreme sports like slacklining, parkour, bow shooting, streetball and so on. Special wall is available for graffiti artists throughout the festival. Every evening covers concerts in different styles: electronic, techno, hip hop, hardcore, jazz and jam sessions. The morning on July 1 is traditionally preserved for hard rock fans. Have fun!
