Wine Museum

     Exhibition: The museum is located in one of the caves of the famous picturesque park Kaylaka in the town of Pleven. The cellar museum displays over 7000 bottles of mature wines aged from 30 to 100 years and 4000 bottles of wine from all wine producing regions in Bulgaria. The visitors have the chance to enjoy wine tasting in a cellar. Specialists from the Regional History Museum provide information about viticulture and enology history in Bulgaria, which makes the museum one of the greatest attractions in Pleven. 

     Main collections in stock: Over 7,000 bottles of wine are exhibited in the cave's halls, along with some one hundred wine barrels made of French oak. 
     Selected from the collections: The oldest exhibited wine is a ninety-nine-year-old "Gamza" red wine.
