International Chamber Music Festival

     In June Plovdiv hosts the oldest chamber music festival in Bulgaria, established in 1964. It takes place in the Ethnographic Museum, the Drama Theatre and the Music School. Since its very beginning, the festival proved itself as a great place for artistic activities. Among its founders were Vladimir Avramov, Alexander Neinski, Dobrin Petkov, Marko Misholam, the municipality in Plovdiv and the Bulgarian Concerts Directorate.
