Departure from Sofia at 08:00 a.m. for Bachkovo Monastery (175 km/2,5 hours). Sightseeing tour of the complex – Bachkovo is second most important monastery in Bulgaria with rich cultural heritage incorporating Byzantine and Georgian medieval culture. Drive to Plovdiv (30 km/0,5 hours). Lunch at a local restaurant in the city center. Check in at the hotel. Walking tour in the Old town of Plovdiv – European capital of culture for 2019 (minimum 2 hours). Free time. Overnight in Plovdiv.
