Departure to The Valley of roses and the Thrakian kings. Central part of Bulgaria, wich is among one of the most beautiful sites of the country. A valley that is locked between Stara Planina and Sredna gora mountains, keep the valuable pieces of the Bulgarian history and is a home of the national symbol – Rose Damascena.

 Guided visit to several sites of the area. First stop is the church of Nativity in Shipka town. Splendid view to the valley and beautiful architecture from 19th century. Next stop is the temple of Seuth the 3rd, two thousand and five hundred years old temple/tomb of one of the Thrakian kings. You will be able to go inside the tomb, see the original architecture and replicas of the many artefacts found in. After the ancient site you finally go to the temple of the most valuable plant in the area – The Rose museum, where you are going to find how the famous Bulgarian rose oil is made, why it’s called “the liquid gold of Bulgaria” and how old is this tradition. After all this exiting history, you’ll have some free time to try the local food around “Rosarium park” and will head for the final chapter, a degustation of Bulgarian wines at a local place. There is option to try rose latte or rose lemonade. Return to Sofia.
