1 DAY - Arrival in Sofia. Accommodation. Guided sightseeing tour of the city center, including Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the Parliament square, the Russian Church, the St. George Rotunda, etc. Optional tour: Vitosha Mountain on Foot”. This tour starts from "Alexander Nevski" Cathedral to Vitosha Mountain. Up to 3 hours hike, starting from the region of the Golden Bridges (1350 m) and ending at Aleko hut region (1830m). At the Golden Bridges, the famous stone rivers, typical for Vitosha Mountain, can be observed. The first part of the route passes trough the forest zone and the second part is above it where the view is more spectacular. Vitosha Mountain is an extinct volcano and the three highest mountain peaks are remnants from its crate. Tourists must be in good fitness condition and appropriate footwear is needed. The duration is up 3 to hours. This tour finishes at "Alexander Nevski" Cathedral. Overnight in Sofia.

2 DAY - Breakfast at the hotel. Free time in Sofia for shopping and visiting museums or, optional: 1. Full day trip to the town of Koprivshtitsa – a world famous folk festival center, representing the typical atmosphere and architecture style of the Bulgarian National Revival period of the 19th century. The town was one of the centers of the April Uprising in 1876 and it was here that the first shot against the Ottoman occupation was fired. Visit to some of the most beautiful museum-houses in Koprivshtitsa: the Oslekov's house, which is nowadays an ethnographic museum; the Church "Dormition of the Virgin", built in 1817, the Kableshkov's Memorial House, etc. Free time for a walk in the cobbled streets of Koprivshtitsa and shopping. In the afternoon, drive back to Sofia. Duration of the tour - approx. 8 hours. This tour finishes in front of the Alexander Nevski Cathedral. 2. A tour to Boyana Church and National History Museum. Departure at 2 p.m. behind the Alexander Nevski Cathedral. Advanced booking is required. The National Museum of History in Sofia is one of the largest history museums on the Balkans with 650.000 items and the largest archaeological and historical archive. The Museum's collections are its greatest treasure. They comprise materials from Prehistoric ages till nowadays. The National Museum of History was established on 1973. In 2000, the NMH shifted to a new location in the former residence of Todor Zhivkov in Boyana. The Boyana Church is a medieval Bulgarian Orthodox church situated in the Boyana village, near Sofia. The monument is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. This site is one of the most completely and perfectly preserved monuments of east European medieval art. The frescoes in the church, painted in 1259, make it one of the most important collections of medieval paintings. Tour duration - 3 hours. The tour finishes at Alexander Nevski Cathedral. 3 DAY - Breakfast at the hotel. Free time in Sofia, or, optional: 1. Full day trip to Plovdiv. Sightseeing tour the Old town, including a visit to the The Roman Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv, which was build in the 2nd century AD under the rule of the Roman emperor Trayan and is nowadays considered to be the largest surviving Roman construction in Bulgaria, visit to the Ethnographic Museum, the Roman stadium, "St Konstantin and Helena" church, etc. Free time. Drive back to Sofia in the late afternoon. Arrival in Sofia in the evening. Overnight.
2. . "itosha Mountain from horseback"- 9:00 a.m. – a transfer from "Alexander Nevski" Cathedral to the Vitosha Mountain. Enjoy the beauty of nature from horseback. A nice riding trip in the cool of the mountain will leave you excited and invigorated. Riders of all levels (including first-time riders) are welcome. No special outfit is required. Helmets are provided. The horse riding base is situated at the foot of Vitosha Mountain and it is also a small zoo. Animal-lovers will be able to enjoy the company of wild animals – deers, red deers, peacocks, guinea-fowl, pheasants, rare breeds of pigeons, a wild boar, etc. Tour duration: up to 4 hours (including horse-riding). Meeting point: behind the "lexander Nevski"Cathedral. Return details: the tour ends at "lexander Nevski"Cathedral. Overnight in Sofia.

4 DAY - Breakfast at the hotel. A shopping trip in Sofia or, optional: full day trip to Veliko Tarnovo and Arbanassi. Sightseeing tour of Veliko Tarnovo – visit to the historical Tsarevets Hill, which served as a primary fortress of the capital town during the Second Bulgarian Kingdom. Drive to the village of Arbanassi, famous for its well preserved 17 and 18 century churches and the typical Revival architecture of its houses. Visit to the Konstantsalieva museum house. Drive back to Sofia. Oernight.

5 DAY - Breakfast. Free time in Sofia for shopping and visiting of museums or, optional: 1. one day tour to the Rila Monastery. Departure 8.00 a.m. behind the Alexander Nevski Cathedral. Advanced booking is required. The Rila Monastery is the most exquisite example of the monastery art and architecture of Bulgaria. The Nativity of the Virgin Church with its miracle icon of the Virgin and splendid gilded iconostasis, the Monastery kitchen, the Rila Monastery Museum keeping the long and heroic history of the monastery, made for a period of twelve years by a monk called Rafael, the Hrelyu’s Tower and many spectacular views from the mountain and the surrounding nature. Tour duration - approx 8 hours.
2. In the evening, an optional dinner in a Bulgarian folk-style restaurant with a folklore music and dances.
