"Winery Lyaskovets 1934" is a modern viticultural and wine-producing enterprise. It consists of five wine cellars established as viticultural areas with a total capacity of 45,000 tons. The uniqueness, the refinement of the aroma and the fruit taste of the wines shape a distinguishable style – the style of "Winery Lyaskovets 1934" that has turned the amber-like grapes into elixir, into magic for the soul.
"Winery Lyaskovets 1934" is situated in the north Bulgarian vine growing region Dunavska ravnina (the Danube Plain) which includes a hilly and a semi-mountainous parts. The vineyards in the region are planted mostly on grey forest soil of a clay-sandy mechanical composition. The altitude is from 192 to 256 m. The average annual temperature is around 12°C and the average annual rainfall from 350 to 650 l/cu.m. These natural and climatic conditions, which are at the same latitude as Toscana, Provance, Bordeaux and Georgia, are particularly suitable for viniculture development in the region.
The winery is annually able of processing 40,000 tons of grapes of the reputed sorts of Chardonnay, Aligote, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pamid, Dimyat, Traminer and many others. Wines with controlled name for origin, wines from a declared geographical region, naturally speaking wines, marvellous brandies and wine cognac are being produced here by classical technology. The production of high alcoholic beverages is also very well developed.
The centuries-old traditions combined with science and classics have earned "Winery Lyaskovets 1934" international fame as well as over 130 gold and silver medals and a Certificate of World Quality in Madrid, 1997. The wines are well accepted in Germany, UK, Belgium, Japan, Denmark, USA, and Eastern Europe.
"Aligote Lyaskovets" is dry white wine with a light flaxen-yellow colour, harmonious taste and specific aroma. It is distinguished from the common wines for its fine delicate bouquet that comes from the maturing in the wooden vessels and growing old in bottles for some months.
"Aligote & Ricat" is made of the Aligote and Rcatsiteli grape sorts. It's fresh wine with fine aroma, and is also well - balanced and unforgettable.
"Aligote & Muscat" is dry white wine made of Aligote and Muskat Ottonel grape sorts in suitable correlation. This wine is aromatic with muskat nuance and has a pleasant freshness and aftertaste.
The white natural sparkling wine - "North Crown" is produced by high - quality champagne wine-materials obtained of Aligote, Shardonnay, Dimyat and RkatsiteliGrape sorts. It has a light flaxen-yellow colour with a greenish tint. The "North Crown" wine is clear, with a specific aroma, elaborated bouquet, fresh and harmonious taste. The wine is saturated of carbon dioxide and has a continued and intensive game. It has to be served to the temperature of 5 - 7 0C and it is suitable for consumption with light dishes and desserts.
The natural sparkling wine "Favorite" is produced by wine materials obtained of the Chardonnay, Aligote, German Rizling and Dimiat sorts of grape. The secondary fermentation run in a vessels in continued method by the using of a local subspecies of selected yeast which in conjunction with the unique combination of the wine-materials of the classical sorts of grape, gives the wine a flaxen color, a declare aroma and a pleasant taste. It advisable to be served to the temperature of 50 C - 70 C and is suitable for consumption with light dishes and desserts.
